Alex’s work graphically shows his attention to detail; he is nothing if not meticulous. But with this wonderful aspect of artist expressioni comes, shall we say, a slower pace in terms of generating finished work. In other words, we would love to speed up the work flow!
With that in mind, this week Alex made a big step and launched into a brand new piece while still finishing up his current project. And now that he is well established with Deb, he’s returning to his routine of working at home for a couple of hours a day to keep thing moving through his pipeline. We have found that the best way to ensure he doing his ‘homework’ is to talk with him about specific hours each day. For instance, in the morning, we’ll ask him, suggesting 3-4 pm, 6-7 pm, and 8-9 pm. He might offer a different suggestion, but accepts things when given an early heads up to it. And when he has set schedule, he’s pretty much like clockwork, right down to the minute.
So, without giving away what he and his teacher Deb have up their sleeves, we’ll just show some of this vibrant red that will serve as a background for what’s to come. We all love the colors!
